On May 11, 2008 marathon races took place on the Skopje streets for the first time.

    * 42.195 km - marathon
    * 21.097 km - semi-marathon
    * 5000 m - recreational races
    * 2000 m - races for elementary school students

Famous marathon runners from all over the world, businessmen, politicians, famous people and active athletes from Macedonia gave their support by taking part in this event which strives to become a world-known event that attracts many visitors.
