Five contemporary photographers from the Balkans (Skopje, Athens, Tirana, Prizren and Belgrade) have taken photographs of Ottoman Empire monuments in a contemporary context that casts another light on the ottoman heritage, thus telling our BALKAN STORY.

By telling the Balkan story the visitors had the unique opportunity to travel through time by feeling the smells and sounds of Ottoman period, preserved as a cultural heritage throughout the centuries-long history.

Morеover, at the exhibition, visitors had the opportunity to heard compositions created especially for this purpose reflecting sounds from the Ottoman period.

The exhibition was shown in Skopje, Athens, Belgrade, Prizren, Tirana, Brussels and Berlin.
