In the biggest sports’ party in town,Skopje Marathon 2013 under organization of Sport Union the record number of participantstook part 4900 from 36 different countries.

In the Maraton race complete domination had Kenyan athletes who once again managed to win the race in male and female category.

The athletes Wycliffe Kipkorir Biwot was the winner in the male category, crossing the 42,195 km long track in a record setting time of 2:21:58, whereas  Caroline Jemeli kipruto came first in the female category with a time of 2:54:58 setinga new women’srecord.

The participation fee funds for the race of 5.000m with 3.500 active participants are to be donated to the Children's Clinic and the Association for Rare Diseases "Life with Challenges".
